  • What is Talk Therapy?

    Talk therapy is a process where we’ll work together in a safe and comfortable environment to discuss your stressors from everyday life to relationships to changing seasons and more. Once we identify the root of the problem, we’ll strategize how to reduce and handle the issues at hand.

  • How long does it take you to typically respond?

    I make it a goal to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours from Monday to Friday. If you try to reach me via phone and I’m not available, please leave me a voicemail with your name and phone number so I can get back to you.

  • What is a typical timeline?

    This will vary by individual need but I like to start with an intake session that is normally 60 minutes so we can determine a unique plan together. Then we’ll schedule 45 minute talk therapy sessions that occur weekly.

  • Where are you located?

    I’m currently licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina and New Jersey.

  • What are your qualifications?

    I’ve been in this field for over 15 years now and I am a LPC (Licensed Professional Counsellor), a LCMHC (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counsellor), and a MA (Master of Arts). I am also a certified postpartum specialist, and certified in play therapy. I have worked with couples, family, and pediatrics.

  • What concerns / struggles do you treat specifically?

    I have treated both adults and pediatrics and have worked with many different specialties over time. These include, but are not limited to: anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, ADD, disordered eating, and all aspects of pregnancy from the desire to get pregnant, perinatal depression, loss of pregnancy, and the postpartum period. I’ve worked with many patients that have struggled with sense of self worth, fragmented self esteem, lack of confidence, boundaries, impostor syndrome, exploring sexuality, fear of failure, and building healthy relationships among other topics. Questions About Billing & Policies

  • What kind of provider are you?

    I am an out-of-network provider.

  • How can I pay?

    I accept credit card, cash, or check.

  • Does Insurance Cover Each Session?

    As an out-of-network provider, you’ll pay directly up front and get a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company if you so choose to.

  • When is payment due?

    Payment will be due at the beginning of the session.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    If you need to cancel, make sure to cancel with a minimum of 24 hours before your scheduled session. Canceling within 24 hours or failing to show up will result in a $75 dollar cancellation/no show fee.
